RWRC is Looking for a Yoga Instructor!

The Rainbow Wellness Resource Centre is looking for a yoga instructor to offer classes to the LGBTQ community of Regina and Southern Saskatchewan. The goal of the program is to help participants reduce stress levels, while at the same time providing them with tools to enhance their emotional and physical well being. Classes will be held at the RWRC, located at 2070 Broad Street (Lower Level) and offered on a weekly basis. In addition, we have received funding for this program and are open to negotiating a reasonable rate for our instructor.  If you are at all interested in being a yoga instructor at the RWRC, or know of anyone else who might be a good fit, please contact us and we can work out the details.

Graphic Designers and Web Developers, RWRC is looking for you!

We are interested in creating a strong and vibrant online presence to serve our community’s needs in a variety of ways and we are looking for your help!

We are currently looking to get quotes for designing a webpage for RWRC that would include:

Bold, eye-catching visuals for the site such as logos, layouts and buttons
Recommendations to make the website accessible and easy-to-find on numerous search engines
A domain capable of supporting multiple email addresses that can be accessed both individually and as a collective.
A domain capable of supporting additional functions such as in-line chat, video and audio files.
Basic maintenance information that is easily understood and accessible to users with a variety of skill-levels.
Networking capabilities for other services such as voicemail and other online media such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.

The LGBTQ book club meets at the RWRC the first Monday of every month from 7-9p.m.  Everyone welcome!

Open Mic Night - Thursday, February 7, 2013

Come one come all to the first Open Mic Night at the Rainbow Wellness Resource Centre! We are looking for performers (this means you) to showcase your talents. Song, poetry/spoken word, comedy, storytelling, magic tricks or anything in between. If you're not into performing than come and cheer on folks in the community.
Doors open @ 7pm
Show starts @ 7:30pm
2070 Broad St. (lower level)
Admission by donation (suggested donation of $5). This is an all ages event!


RWRC Referral Line 
RWRC is looking for individuals who may be interested in volunteering with our Referral Line. The goal of the Referral Line is to provide LGBTQ individuals with an opportunity to ask questions, explore their feelings and gain access to referrals for unbiased physical and mental health supports in their communities.
