About Us

The objectives of RWRC are:

To assess the mental, emotional, physical, and social health care needs of our community (LGBT) in Regina and area.

To educate our community about health issues and to encourage them to become more involved individually and collectively in meeting those needs.

To facilitate the development of programs and services that address the mental, emotional, physical, and social health care needs of our community.

To educate and inform health care and social service professionals and agencies about the health care needs of our community and provide them with information about how they can better meet those needs.

To develop referral and networking services that allow members of our community and health care and social service professionals and agencies to work together to meet the health care needs of our community.

To develop leadership skills within our community so the community is better able and equipped to develop and maintain mechanisms and coalitions that will allow the community to attain and maintain a higher level of health and health care.

To develop referral and networking services for families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered individuals so they are able to have their health care needs met.

To educate and inform the general community about the health care needs of our community and how the general community can facilitate better health care for all members of our community.
